As our project workload continues to grow, we’re seeking skilled and motivated Carpenters to join our Auckland-based team.


About the Role

Pay: $25 to $30 per hour 

You’ll be responsible for a range of hands-on carpentry and outdoor construction tasks involved in preparing, building, and finishing commercial and residential artificial lawn and landscape projects.

Key Duties Include:

  • Reading and interpreting site plans, measurements, and specifications.

  • Constructing and installing formwork, timber edging, frames, and retaining structures.

  • Measuring, cutting, and fitting timber, plywood, and composite materials.

  • Installing decking, fencing, and minor structural elements as part of landscaping projects.

  • Assisting with concrete work, surface preparation, and substrate construction.

  • Ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high trade standards.


Skills & Experience Required

  • Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience as a Carpenter or in a closely related trade.

  • Proficiency in interpreting drawings and measurements.

  • Strong understanding of building materials, tools, and finishing techniques.

  • Able to work safely on active construction sites and outdoors.

  • Reliable, physically fit, and a strong team player.

Desirable but not necessary

  • Trade qualification (NZQA Level 4 or equivalent overseas qualification).

  • Experience in landscaping, decking, or outdoor construction environments.

Location & Hours

  • Work location: Auckland (may include various project sites across the region).

  • Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week (Monday to Saturday as required).
