F&R Home Improvement Limited is a leading supplier and installer of high-quality sliding doors, stand-alone wardrobes, walk-in wardrobes, interior shelving, kitchen cabinetry and sliding drawer systems. We have the largest showroom in North Shore, showcasing over 40 sliding door styles and a wide variety of wardrobe designs.
We are now looking for an experienced Joiner to join our professional team.
Location: Auckland, New Zealand
Hours per week: Minimum 30 hours
Employment type: Full-time, permanent
Hourly rate: $29 to $33 depending on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret drawings, measurements, and specifications to produce and install custom joinery products, including wardrobes, sliding doors, and kitchen cabinetry.
- Construct, assemble, and fit sliding doors, wardrobes, kitchen cabinets, shelving units, and drawer systems using wood, MDF, plywood, and other suitable materials.
- Operate woodworking machinery, power tools, and hand tools to cut, shape, and finish components for both wardrobe and kitchen joinery.
- Measure, cut, and install benchtops, cabinet frames, and doors with accurate fitting and alignment.
- Install kitchen fittings such as hinges, drawer runners, handles, and soft-close systems.
- Repair or adjust existing joinery products, including kitchen cabinetry and benchtop fittings.
- Ensure all work meets company quality standards, building codes, and customer expectations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workshop and installation site.
Skills and Experience Required:
- NZQF Level 4 qualification in a related field or at least one year relevant work experience.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality craftsmanship.
