Construction Rigger wanted

Allstar.Roofing Litd is a Auckland based tiling service company. Currently, we are seeking multiple contruction riggers to join our team. The role is a full-time position with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week.

This role responsibles for setting up, positioning, and securing structural steel, roofing frames, and related metal components on construction and roofing projects. The role involves working closely with crane operators, roof installers, and other trades to ensure all lifting, rigging, and installation work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications and site safety regulations.

 

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Assemble and secure structural steel, roof frames, and trusses using cranes, hoists, and rigging equipment.

  • Attach and adjust slings, chains, and lifting gear to safely move and position loads.

  • Direct crane or hoist operators during lifting, positioning, and alignment of metal components.

  • Install and align steel beams, purlins, and roofing panels according to site drawings.

  • Inspect and maintain rigging equipment, lifting devices, and safety harness systems.

  • Set up and dismantle temporary supports or scaffolding to ensure safe access and installation.

  • Check completed installations for alignment, stability, and compliance with site safety standards

The successful candidate must have:
