About the Role
We are seeking experienced and reliable Mobile Plant Operators to join our team. The successful applicants will be responsible for operating and maintaining a range of mobile construction machinery on-site, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and control various mobile machinery and equipment on construction sites, including concrete pump trucks, concrete finishing machines, small excavators, rollers/compactors, forklifts, and other site machinery.
  • Prepare work sites for machinery operations, including setting up, positioning, and securing equipment.
  • Monitor the performance and safety of machinery during operations to ensure efficient workflow and compliance with safety standards.
  • Conduct daily inspections, basic maintenance, and minor troubleshooting of machinery.
  • Work collaboratively with site supervisors and team members to complete concrete pouring, finishing, and other related construction activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment use, maintenance, and site operations.
  • Follow all Health and Safety regulations, particularly regarding mobile machinery operation and site traffic management.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Minimum of three years of relevant experience operating mobile plant machinery in construction or a related industry.
  • Proven experience with concrete-related machinery such as pump trucks, finishing machines, or compactors.
  • Ability to perform basic mechanical maintenance and identify faults.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety practices in construction environments.
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work as part of a team.
