Position Summary
We are seeking a Machinery Supply Manager to lead and enhance our end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring the effective procurement, storage, and distribution of machinery and equipment for our civil works projects. This pivotal role involves maintaining inventory accuracy, strengthening supplier relationships, and aligning supply strategies with broader business objectives within the civil engineering industry. The successful candidate will bring strong analytical capabilities, commercial insight, and proven experience in coordinating logistics, procurement, and warehouse functions. They will be expected to track market trends, negotiate supplier agreements, and implement cost-efficient solutions that drive operational excellence and project efficiency in civil engineering initiatives. We’re looking for a proactive leader who can balance strategic oversight with hands-on execution, ensuring that all supply chain activities are compliant, timely, and scalable to support the company’s continued growth in civil infrastructure development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops and oversees operational plans and procedures for sourcing, warehousing, and distributing products to support business objectives.
- Maintains oversight of inventory systems to ensure stock levels are accurate and aligned with supply needs.
- Monitors the flow of goods throughout the supply chain, ensuring timely and traceable movement.
- Coordinates with internal teams and external stakeholders to manage dispatch and transportation of outbound goods.
- Supervises the documentation and record-keeping processes related to procurement, storage, and delivery activities.
The Machinery Supply Manager plays a central role in overseeing the company’s supply chain operations, ensuring that goods and services are sourced, stored, and delivered efficiently and in line with our business objectives. This role requires strategic oversight, operational coordination, and stakeholder engagement across multiple functions, with a primary focus on civil works.
Skills, Experience, and Qualifications
· A bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, Retail Management, Finance, or a related field; OR at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
· Proven experience in inventory control and stock forecasting.
· Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
· Familiarity with logistics coordination and warehouse operations – experience in a civil company required.
· Proficient in using inventory and procurement software system, or eager to learn.
· Exceptional organisational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands.
· Multilingual ability is advantageous for liaising with international stakeholders.
