Tour Specialist at Stour Rentals NZ Travel Agency! We are one of leading travel agencies specialising in inbound and personalised tours for Chinese visitors to NZ. We are currently seeking three Tour Specialists to join our team.

Job description:

  • Lead tours across New Zealand, offering insightful commentary on the country's natural beauty and cultural heritage, and driving clients to various destinations.
  • Create itineraries focused on New Zealand's landscapes, manage bookings for accommodation and transport, and ensure a high-quality travel experience.
  • Assess clients' travel needs, provide tailored itinerary suggestions, and advise on travel and accommodation options.
  • Provide essential travel tips.
  • Promote our tour packages/products, assist in developing marketing materials, and engage with potential clients to generate interest in our services.

What We Offer:

  • Job location: You will be based in Christchurch but may work throughout New Zealand, depending on the tour itinerairies.
  • Employment type: Permanet full-time position with a minimum of 30 hours per week, varying based on seasonal demand.
  • Salary: NZ$28.18 - NZ$33.56 per hour, depending on experience and eligibility.

Requirements:

  • Language: Fluent in Mandarin
  • Experience: A minimum of two years relevant experience
  • Qualifications: A minimum of a Level 4 qualification (Toursim/Hospitality/Business/Management/Marketing or relevant)
  • Licences: Must have a valid NZ driver's licence; a P endorsement is preferred.
  • Background: No drug or criminal record.
  • Skills: Strong communication abilities, a caring and responsbile attitude, punctuality, and a professional approach to customer service are essential
