About the Role
-
We are seeking a technically skilled and customer-focused ICT
Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be
responsible for the installation, maintenance, and support of Point of
Sale (POS) systems, computer networks, and electronic security
solutions, including IdealPOS software and CCTV systems.
Key Responsibilities

Perform hardware repairs, assembly, software installation, and
configuration of POS and electronic security systems.

Network computers and POS systems
on client sites and ensure seamless connectivity.

Install and support IdealPOS software, including updates, system integration, and custom configuration.

Modify existing software configurations to meet specific user requirements

Provide ongoing technical support to clients via remote login, phone, and onsite visits as needed.

Install, troubleshoot, and maintain Windows OS, touch computers,and various electronic components.

Diagnose and replace faulty peripherals
such as receipt printers,kitchen printers, touchscreens, hard drives, and networking modems.

Guide clients on the effective use of their systems and applications,including IdealPOS and electronic security devices.

Provide consultation on DVR, NVR, and other security systems offered by the company. Respond to hardware and software inquiries, ensuring timely resolution and client satisfaction.

Be available to work after hours or on weekends for customer support, as required and pre-arranged.

Install and maintain CCTV cameras and NVR systems at various client sites.
Skills, Qualification and Experience Requirements

A relevant Diploma or Degree in Information
-
Technology,Computer Science, Software or equivalent qualification.

At least 1–2 years of experience in a similar ICT support or technician role will be an advantage

Solid experience with POS systems, particularly IdealPOS, and CCTV security equipment is expected.

Strong understanding of computer networking , including modem/router setup and LAN configuration.

Experience inWindows OS installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.

Ability to diagnose and repair hardware and peripheral issues.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills for customer-facing roles. Ability to work
-
independently, manage time effectively, and handle multiple support tasks.

Relevant industry certifications (e.g.,CompTIA A+, Microsoft,networking certifications) are advantageous.
-
A valid driver’s license is preferred for travel to client sites.
