About the Role
We are currently seeking two skilled and experienced Hairstylists to join our friendly team on a permanent, full-time basis.

Hours: Minimum of 35 and up to 40 hours per week
Pay Rate: $27.00 – $36.00 per hour (commensurate with experience)

Key Responsibilities
• Cut, trim, and shape hair or hairpieces based on clients’ instructions, hair type, and facial features, using scissors, clippers, trimmers, and razors.
• Perform colouring services, including bleaching, dyeing, or tinting using appropriate techniques and products.
• Apply chemical treatments such as straightening, perming, or curling solutions.
• Provide professional advice on hair care, styles, and suitable beauty products.
• Shampoo, condition, and treat clients’ hair and scalp.
• Stay updated with current trends, techniques, and products in hair styling.
• Maintain a clean, hygienic, and organised workstation, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitised.
• Uphold salon health and safety procedures at all times.
• Foster positive relationships with clients and team members through excellent communication and customer service.
• Promote salon products and treatments to clients when appropriate.

About You
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a professional hairstylist.
• Skilled in both haircutting and chemical services.
• Confident in delivering a range of cutting, colouring, and styling services.
• Well-presented, friendly, and professional in manner and appearance.
• Passionate about the hair and beauty industry with a positive attitude and strong attention to detail.
• Committed to providing high-quality service and continuous professional development.
