Mantaj Transport Limited is rubbish collector company based in Auckland, and we are looking for two reliable class II drivers to operate Gantry Truck and Rareload. This is a full time (Monday – Friday) employment with alternate Saturday work for minimum 32 hours a week. Employees may be required to work additional hours (max 40) depending on work. Right candidate will be offered between $27 - $30/hour based on experience.

You will be assigned below listed duties: 

  • Operate a Class 2 gantry truck and Rareloader to transport bins and materials to designated locations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle's safety and roadworthiness.
  • Follow assigned routes and schedules to complete deliveries and pickups on time.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues to ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle maintenance activities.
  • Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, regulations, and company policies at all times.
  • Ensure proper loading and unloading of bins and materials, preventing damage or loss.
  • Uphold high standards of professionalism and customer service in all interactions.
  •   Reporting to management regarding any delivery issues.
  •  You may be required to travel to Waikato as a part of your role.

What we are looking for:

  • Valid New Zealand Class 2 driver's license.
  • Physical fitness is important for this job.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including alternate Saturday.
  • Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Clean record and willingness to take drug tests.
  • Ability to prioritise safety and follow procedures.
  • Previous driving related 1 year work experience is required.
  • Must be able to start early morning 5:00 am shift.
