Full time permanent PLASTERER requires for our busy company. The minimum work hour will be 32 hours per week and maximum will be 45 hours per week. The minimum wage is $30.00ph and maximum wages will be $38.00ph based on experience. Candidate should pass a background check and be physically fit. New Zealand citizen or resident will be preferable. Please mention if you are a NZ resident or citizen.

Tasks and duties:

·        Prepare the surfaces that will be plastered, which can involve removing old plaster, cleaning walls, and applying a base coat.

·         Examining and priming surfaces for plastering.

·        Mix plaster materials to the correct consistency and apply it to surfaces using tools like trowels and brushes.

·        Ensure that the applied plaster is level and smooth through techniques such as scree ding (levelling off using a straight edge).

·        Measuring and preparing the work area.

·        Applying plaster to walls and ceilings using trowels, brushes, or spraying equipment.

·        Finessing the plaster application by smoothing and levelling the surface.

·        Creating decorative textures or finishes as required by the project specifications.

·        Protecting non-plastering surfaces with appropriate materials.

·       Fixing and repairing previous plastering work when necessary

·       Ensuring all tools and equipment are cleaned and maintained after use to keep them in good working order.

·       Adhering to all safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries on the job site.

·       Reporting any structural issues to the site foreman.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

·         Two years relevant experience.

·         The applicant may require to work all over the Auckland.
