About the Role:
This is a hands-on role involving the installation, repair, and replacement of glass in windows, doors, shopfronts, partitions, balustrades, and more. The successful candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent technical skills, and a commitment to working safely and efficiently.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Measure and mark glass for cutting and installation.
  • Cut, shape, and smooth glass using hand and power tools.
  • Install glass panels into frames, windows, doors, partitions, and other structures.
  • Install hardware, frames, rubber seals, weatherproofing, and safety glass where required.
  • Remove and replace damaged or broken glass.
  • Interpret and work from technical drawings and specifications.
  • Work on-site at client locations or in workshop settings.
  • Follow all health and safety procedures and ensure compliance with industry standards.

 

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 3 years of relevant work experience
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
  • Competence in using hand tools, glass cutting machinery, and lifting equipment
  • Good physical fitness and manual dexterity
  • Strong awareness of safety practices when working with glass and at heights
  • Good communication and time management skills.
