Experienced C4 driver needed to join our recycling clients team , start asap until end of January (may continue)
Our Lower Hutt client is seeking an experienced class 4 driver to join their team.
Their main truck is a standard automatic, however experience driving with a road ranger gearbox is very helpful as there are other types of vehicle to be trained on.
This role is a 3.30am to approx 1pm run, emptying recycling bins around Wellington. You'll get to learn the run and the most efficient way to do it, and avoid traffic! If youve driven a class 4 truck as a courier this could be ideal.
This is a Monday to Saturday role, and will include public holidays except Christmas and Boxing day.
You need to be physically fit, to drive the truck, get in and out safely, and also to be able to clear the bins as needed
3.30am-1 Mon to Fri (aprox) and 3.30am -10am Sat (aprox)
Hourly rate is $30 an hour depending on experience
Types of truck are rear packer, hook truck, front fork truck. You'll receive training
You will need good Wellington knowledge and the ability to use a computer.
From time to time there is also some factory work, driving a forklift or loader or running the baler as needed.
This is a great role for someone who already has solid driving skills and wants to learn more.
You must be in NZ with the right to work to apply for this role. We do not assist with immigration.
Initially this role is a temp assignment from October 2025-Jan 2026. This may change according to my clients needs.
