Title: Financial Administration Officer

 

Type: Full-time, permanent

 

We are a timber exporting company located in Auckland, and we are looking for a financial administration officer to join our growing team. 

 

Location of Work: Auckland  

Type of employment: Full time, at least 30 hours per week

Days required: Monday – Friday, working in the evening is required  

Pay: $30 per hour, based on qualification and experience  

 

Responsibilities:

·      Handling export/import documentation and taxation

·      Recording financial transactions and balancing the books

·      Cross-referencing the books against bank statements

·      Creating and sending invoices, and following up to get them paid

·      Making sure invoices from suppliers are accurate and paid

·      Providing assistance in GST filing and annual financial reporting

·      Summarising the business’s financial position

·      Other duties and responsibilities which may be assigned to you from time to time

 

Key skills required:

·      Relevant diploma or above, or at least three years relevant experience

·      Must have good knowledge of Chinese accounting system and export/import taxation

·      Able to work in the evening due to the time zone difference

·      Strong communication and time management skills

·      Good command of Mandarin (both speaking and writing) as you will be mainly dealing with Chinese customers/importers
