BrowNZ Barber is seeking skilled and creative Hairdressers to join our professional
grooming team in the Taranaki region. The ideal candidates will have hands-on
experience in modern men’s and women’s hairstyling, cutting, and colouring techniques,
with a passion for client care and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities


● Consult with clients to determine their desired hairstyle and assess hair/scalp
condition.
● Analyse clients’ facial features and hair type to recommend suitable cuts and
styles.
● Cut, trim, and shape hair using scissors, clippers, razors, and other professional
tools.
● Style, straighten, and permanently wave hair using appropriate tools and
techniques.
● Apply hair colour, highlights, and lowlights using various colouring methods.
● Perform hair and scalp treatments, including deep conditioning, moisturising, and
massages.
● Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of tools, workstations, and client areas.
● Provide excellent customer service to ensure client satisfaction and retention.


Skills and Experience Required


● Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience as a Hairdresser; OR
● A New Zealand Qualification (Level 4) or overseas equivalent qualification.

● Ability to work independently and as part of a professional team.
● Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays as rostered
