Due to growth, we’re seeking skilled, motivated carpenters to work on new builds, renovations, and custom fit-outs. Join our professional team, enhance your skills, and contribute to projects that meet the highest standards.

 

Type of employment: Permanent, guaranteed 30 hours per week, roster Monday to Sunday.

Location: Auckland region

Pay: $30-$35 per hour, depending on your skills and experience

Requirements:

  • At least two years of relevant work experience in the same field or industry, OR
  • A relevant level 4 qualification or above 

Tasks include:

  • Interpreting drawings and specifications under guidance to determine required materials, dimensions, and installation methods
  • Assisting in ordering and selecting timbers and other materials, and helping to prepare basic layouts
  • Measuring, cutting, and assembling materials, and securing parts using nails, screws, and other fasteners
  • Assisting in erecting frameworks, panel systems, roof framing, laying sub-flooring and floorboards, and checking structural accuracy with levels and measuring tools
  • Installing fascia panels, basic roof sheathing, exterior cladding, and fitting standard door and window frames
  • Assembling prepared timber components to create structures and fittings for installation
  • Performing basic wood joinery tasks, with increasing proficiency in accuracy and finish
