We are seeking a proactive and creative Transport  Manager to join our team
in Christchurch.

Remuneration: $29.00 – $53.00 NZD / per hour
 
Requirements:
- At least 30 hours of work per week.
- Minimum two years of relevant work experience or a qualification in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Must have New Zealand citizenship, residency.
Your key responsibilities include:
 
* Receiving orders and bookings, and planning and implementing
transportation schedules.
* Arranging collection and delivery of vehicles and goods.
* Oversee the day-to-day management of the company’s vehicle fleet,
ensuring operational efficiency and safety.
* Develop and implement fleet management policies, maintenance
schedules, and operational procedures.
* Monitor vehicle usage, fuel consumption, and maintenance costs
to ensure cost-effective operations.
* Coordinate vehicle acquisition, registration, insurance, and
compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Manage relationships with service providers, repair workshops, and
insurance companies.
* Conduct regular inspections to ensure vehicles are well-maintained
and meet safety standards.
* Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety
regulations
* Analyze fleet performance data and prepare reports to support
business decision-making.
* Supervise drivers and ensure adherence to company policies and
transportation regulations.
