Massage Therapist

We are looking for 5 Massage Therapists in the therapying massage field to perform routine tasks to the quality standards.

Working location: Lower Hutt and Wellington

Type: Full-time

Working hours: 30 to 40 hours per week

Payment: $27 to $32 per hour

What you’ll need to be a successful applicant:

· 2 years relevant experience or level 4 or above relevant qualification.

· Must be able to work on weekends and be flexible for the shifts.

· Be reliable, responsible, punctual, and full commitment is required.

· Physically fit the job and can perform good massage techniques on clients.

Job responsibilities:

· Massaging the soft tissues of the body, such as muscles, tendons and ligaments, to assist healing.

· Utilizing a range of massage techniques to enhance sports performance and prevent injury.

· Administering treatments to promote relaxation, improve circulation and relieve muscle tension.

· Assessing and treating specific soft tissue dysfunction and providing rehabilitation advice.

· Applying other techniques, such as acupressure or shiatsu, and complementary aids, such as wet compresses, ice, essential oils and herbal therapies, to assist recovery.

· Assessing client's physical condition and case history and advising on stretching exercises and relaxation techniques.

· Making sure the working area is clean, and equipment is sterilized to meet hygiene, and health and safety regulations.

· Keeping track of stock level.
