We are looking for several experienced  Beauty Therapists to join our team.

You will be paid an hourly rate of $28.00-40.00 depending on your experience and skill

level. You will be working in Auckland. This role will be a permanent, full-time position

and will be guaranteed 30 hours of work per week from Monday to Saturday but can be

up to 50 hours weekly.

Paid weekly, 4 weeks annual leave, Statutory holidays, Sick and bereavement leave.

Candidates need to be able to start immediately and work lawfully in New Zealand

 

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Removing unwanted hair from the face or body using hot wax, threading, electrolysis or other techniques
  • Performing manicures and pedicures, including shaping and painting nails
  • Massaging parts of the body for relaxation or pain relief
  • Tanning the skin using a spray tan or artificial light treatments
  • Performing facials and body skin treatments including cleansing, toning, exfoliating, massaging and applying masks
  • Applying makeup for weddings, birthdays and other special occasions
  • Advising clients about makeup and beauty products they can use between treatments, including encouraging clients to buy salon products

 

The successful candidate must have:

  • Minimum 2 years work experience in related field or level 4 relevant skills certificate 
  • Motivated, good work attitude and good communication skills
  • Regular and reliable attendance
  • Quality workmanship and eye for detail
  • Strong ability to work independently
  • Able to pass health, drug and criminal checks if required
