Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to
shape and execute Roskill’s technology strategy. Reporting directly to the Managing
Director, the CTO will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing systems and
technologies that enhance productivity, streamline operations, and strengthen our competitive edge in the ventilation manufacturing and distribution sector.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in engineering or manufacturing, combined with strong expertise in automation, digital systems, and business-process transformation.
This is a senior leadership position requiring both strategic thinking and hands-on implementation capability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead the company’s technology vision and roadmap, focusing on digital transformation, process automation, data analytics, and smart manufacturing solutions.
- Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing technical team, fostering innovation, accountability, and operational excellence.
- Evaluate and optimise existing production and logistics systems, introducing
improvements through automation, digital integration, and advanced analytics. - Design and oversee core technology architecture, including ERP, MES, CRM, and
data-management systems, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency. - Collaborate closely with operational, production, sales, and finance teams to
identify business needs and translate them into actionable technology initiatives. - Lead technology investment planning and budgeting, ensuring alignment with
business objectives and measurable return on investment. - Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, data protection, and industry-specific safety and quality standards.
- Monitor emerging technologies relevant to HVAC manufacturing, supply-chain
digitisation, and industrial automation, recommending adoption strategies to maintain a competitive edge. - Report regularly to senior leadership and the board, providing updates on major
technology projects, risks, and innovation opportunities.
Job requirement: applicant must meet following requirement to apply for this job
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical qualification
- At least 10 years of experience in software engineering, system design, or technology development, with proven progression into senior or lead engineering roles.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages (such as C/C++, Python, Java, or Shell scripting) and software development tools.
- Proven ability to lead engineering or technology teams, manage project pipelines, and deliver results within budget and schedule.
