We are looking for an experienced Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic to join our team based in Bell Block, New Plymouth.


Responsibilities:
• Diagnosing and repairing heavy vehicles
• Conducting routine maintenance and safety inspections
• Maintaining accurate services records and documenting all repairs
• Communicating effectively with the rest of the team and customers
• Staying up-to-date with industry advancements and new technologies

Requirements:
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• A relevant qualification or relevant industry experience (essential)
• Sound knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, transmissions and electrical systems
• Good time management and the ability to prioritise – this is a very busy role
• Class 5, Forklift & WTR Licences preferred but not essential – support for obtaining these licences is provided
