The company carries out construction of plastic houses, glasshouses, and maintenance of such structures.

The company is looking for candidates with experience in welding, preferable in greenhouse welding. The employees will primarily be working in the Auckland region and may be required to work across New Zealand to assist projects national wide. Therefore, the flexibility on work locations is preferred.

The normal hours of work is between 7am and 4pm, Monday to Saturday inclusive, and may vary depending on requirements of the projects. Minimum 30 hours of work is guaranteed for the role. Any additional hours allowing at least 8 hours' notice, with agreement between the company and the employees.

Skills Required:

  • Demonstrable work site experience in the role mentioned above with competent usage of tools and materials used on construction sites;
  • Ability to work at heights as this is a major component of the work;
  • Studying blueprints, drawings, and specificaitons to determine job requirements;
  • Cutting, shaping, and bending sections and pipes using hand and machine tools, and by heating and hammering;
  • Joinery using hand tools and measuring instruments;
  • At least 2 years relevant work experience.
