The team in Christchurch is looking for permanent full-time Machine Operators to join the Asphalt crew.

You will be joining one of the paving crews who are skilled in asphalt and work the majority of the time on public roads andmotorways. No two days will be the same!
You'll be operating a range of equipment ranging from rollers, pavers, graders,tractor brooms and trucks. There is also the opportunity to up-skill within this department.
This is a full time, permanent role working a minimum of 40 hours to a maximum of 70 hours per week between Monday and Sunday, inclusive. You will be based in Christchurch, however may work across the Canterbury region. You may also be required to relocate to these other regions.
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Minimum full Class 2-4 Drivers License or overseas equivalent
- Minimum 1-years’ experience in operating one or more of the following
Roller
Paver
Grader
Tractor Broom - Minimum 2-year roading and infrastructure experience
- Prefer WTR licence or overseas equivalent
- Prefer with knowledge on First Aid Qualification and Bitumen Safety course
- Able to work nights / stay aways as required
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and the ability to think for yourself
- A high level of physical fitness due to the physical nature of the role
- Be reliable, honest and a flexible team player
