Key Responsibilities and Duties

Primary duties include:

•  Welding and Cutting: Perform welding and cutting tasks on various construction projects, including buildings, bridges, and pipelines. 
•  Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications to understand welding requirements and ensure accuracy in work. 
• Equipment Operation: Set up, maintain, and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding machines.     
• Quality Inspection: Inspect and test welds to ensure they meet design specifications, safety standards, and structural reliability.
•  Repair Work: Carry out repairs on old or damaged structures, requiring precision and a keen understanding of various welding techniques.
•  Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment to minimize risks associatd with welding tasks.

 Job requirements:

·         No formal qualification is required, any relevant qualification is preferable

·         Have 3 years or more relevant experience

·         Attention to details

·         Be able to work independently as well as a team

·         Be able to work under pressure

·         Be physically fit

·         Be reliable and hardworking

·         Be willing to work during weekends if required

Working Place, hours, Wages level

·         Working in assigned construction sites in Auckland

·         Weekly Hours: You will be paid at actual hours however we guarantee minimum 30 hours and maximum 48 hours  

·         Remuneration: Great market driven rates on experience, hour rate $28-30
