We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our growing team in Auckland. The successful applicant will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of heavy vehicles, ensuring goods are delivered on time and in excellent condition.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Manoeuvring vehicles into position for loading and unloading.

  • Loading and unloading vehicles using lifting and tipping devices.

  • Observing all safety requirements when loading and unloading vehicles.

  • Making regular quality and safety checks of vehicles to ensure they are fit for driving.

  • Estimating weights to comply with load limitations and ensuring safe distribution of weight.

  • Ensuring goods are stowed securely and covered to prevent loss or damage.

  • Verifying loading documents, checking the condition of goods, and obtaining certification of deliveries.

  • Maintaining accurate delivery records and logs.

  • Following all company and NZTA transport regulations.

Requirements:

  • Valid New Zealand Class 4 or 5 driver’s licence or overseas heavy licence

  • Proven experience operating heavy trucks in New Zealand for at least 1 year

  • Good knowledge of NZ road laws and load safety requirements.

  • Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused.

  • Physically fit and capable of handling loading and unloading tasks.
