Position: 1 Painter

Our growing painting company is looking for an experienced, reliable and hardworking Painter to join our team for upcoming projects across Auckland.

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $26–$35, with a minimum of 30–40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Inspect, prepare, and clean surfaces by removing dirt, cracks, and imperfections prior to painting.

·       Protect surrounding areas, including floors, doors, and furniture, and remove fixtures before commencing work.

·       Assemble and dismantle scaffolding as required, and safely handle the transportation of paints, tools, and equipment around project sites.

·       Set up ventilators, ensure proper ventilation and worksite safety at all times.

·       Prepare walls and other surfaces by scraping, sanding, and removing old paint coatings.

·       Mix paints and oils accurately to achieve the required colour and consistency.

·       Apply primers, paints, sealers, and decorative finishes to various structures using brushes, rollers, or sprayers.

·       Monitor stock levels and promptly report any material shortages to supervisors.

·       Maintain cleanliness and order on worksites, including the proper care and storage of tools, rollers, and machinery after use.

·       Reinstall fixtures once painting work is completed.

·       Comply with all company policies, health, and safety regulations.

 

Requirements:

·      At least 2 years relevant experience in painting.

·      Have great interest in working in construction or becoming a professional painter.

·      Polite, punctual and hard-working

·      Great attention to details and always alert to ensure safety

·      Site Safe certified

·      Be able to work from Monday to Saturday or weekend when we need to finish before the project deadline.

·      Construct Sites may assign urine test and drug test anytime if needed

·      Full driver license
