We're looking for a skilled Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join a well-equipped workshop, managing maintenance and repairs across a varied fleet of machinery and vehicles. This is a hands-on role with responsibility for internal fleet and equipment upkeep.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair a range of heavy diesel machinery, trucks, and vehicles
 - Diagnose faults and carry out mechanical repairs
 - Perform scheduled servicing, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting
 - Maintain accurate records of work completed
 - Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry regulations
 - Assist with inventory and parts ordering
 - Recommend improvements to fleet maintenance practices
 
Skills and Qualifications:
- Essential: Qualified mechanic
 - Desirable: Class 4 licence, WOF certification.
 - Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
 - Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
 - Experience with heavy machinery and vehicles
 - High attention to detail and quality workmanship
 - Good communication and organisational skills
