Parakai Honey Ltd is a honey production company specialising in high-quality Manuka and multifloral honey products. Our operations cover the entire process from raw honey extraction and filtration to packing, labelling, and export. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Production Supervisor to join our Auckland-based team and oversee daily production activities.

Key Responsibilities:  

- Supervise and coordinate production line activities to ensure efficient workflow and consistent product quality.  

- Monitor production schedules and targets to meet delivery timelines.  

- Train, motivate, and support production staff to maintain safety, hygiene, and performance standards.  

- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with MPI and food safety regulations.  

- Liaise with management, quality control, and logistics teams to address any production or operational issues.  

- Maintain accurate production records, stock control, and reporting documentation.  

- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.  

Requirements:  

- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a food production environment, preferably in a supervisory or team leader role. Relevant qualification is not a must but is an advantage.

- Strong understanding of food safety (HACCP / MPI) and workplace health & safety practices.  

- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members. Mandarin competency is an advantage.

- Ability to operate manufacturing machinery and oversee honey processing, to demonstrate strong problem-solving skills to address challenges and enhance efficiency.

- Reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
