Barber

we are looking for a full-time Barber to join us in Wellington.

The ideal candidate must have the followings:

At least 2 years relevant experience or a level 4 or above relevant qualification.

Full commitment is required.

Tasks Include:

Perform a range of men’s haircutting and styling services, including fades, tapers, scissor cuts, and razor trims.

Provide beard trimming, shaping, and hot towel shaving using professional barbering techniques.

Consult with clients to understand their preferred style and provide suitable recommendations.

Maintain hygiene and cleanliness of tools, equipment, and workstations at all times.

Ensure a high standard of customer service and build good relationships with regular clients.

Keep up to date with current trends in men’s grooming and hair products.

Manage appointments and assist with walk-in customers efficiently.

Handle basic cash or EFTPOS transactions accurately when required.

Support team members and contribute to a positive and professional shop environment.

Ensure the barbershop remains clean, organised, and well-presented throughout the day.

In return we will offer:

A stable position in Wellington.

Competitive hourly rates are from $28 to $32 per hour.

Working hours 30 - 40 per week.
