We’re looking for a dynamic and strategic leader to Lead the Business Enablement Team. The role is Fixed Term until 30th June '26. To lead a team responsible for providing information technology, knowledge management across the organization, to ensure the Ministry has the right tools, systems and processes to effectively deliver on their functions. This role requires Secret Security Clearance.

As Manager – Business Enablement you’ll:

  • Lead a high-performing team delivering IT, knowledge management services.
  • Drive continuous improvement across systems and processes.
  • Manage key vendor and supplier relationships to ensure efficient and secure service delivery.
  • Oversee the Ministry’s ICT strategy and property operations, ensuring fit-for-purpose infrastructure.
  • Represent the Ministry in cross-government forums and collaborate with senior leaders to drive collective success.

What you’ll bring:

  • Proven leadership experience in ICT or business enablement functions.
  • Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative approach.
  • Expertise in vendor and contract management.
  • Strategic thinking and sound judgement, with the ability to make effective decisions under pressure.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification or extensive equivalent experience.
  • Commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and an understanding of Te Reo, Tikanga, and Mātauranga Māori.
