We are  currently looking for a reliable and experienced Painting Trade Worker to join our Auckland- based team. The role involves preparing and painting a variety of surfaces, ensuring smooth and  high-quality finishes, and working closely with other tradespeople to deliver professional and  long-lasting results.

We are  currently looking for a reliable and experienced Painting Trade Worker to join our Auckland- based team. The role involves preparing and painting a variety of surfaces, ensuring smooth and  high-quality finishes, and working closely with other tradespeople to deliver professional and  long-lasting results.
 
Key Responsibilities
 
 
● Paint walls, ceilings, doors, and other surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray guns. 
Make sure the paint goes on evenly and looks neat.
● Put up scaffolding and ladders safely. Use drop sheets or covers to protect nearby areas, 
floors, and furniture from paint splashes.
● Lay or repair wall and floor tiles, making sure they are straight and properly
●Take off old paint or wallpaper. Fix and smooth woodwork, fill in holes and cracks, sand rough spots, and apply primer or sealer so the surface is ready to paint.
● Hang wallpaper carefully, making sure patterns match and edges are straight and 
smooth
● Mix paints, stains, and varnishes to get the right colour and texture. Use the right 
amounts of pigment, oil, and other materials..
●Clean all tools, brushes, rollers, and equipment after use. Keep the work area neat and 
tidy.
●Fix or replace damaged woodwork, and repair or replace broken glass in windows if 
needed.
 
Skills and Attributes
 
Candidate must have either relevant Level 4 Qualification or two years of relevant experience.
 
ØBe physically fit and able to carry out manual handling tasks
ØBe punctual, reliable, and able to follow instructions
 
What We Offer
 
üCompetitive pay rates from NZ$28 to NZ$34 per hour.
