We are a small construction business based in Wellington City. We are specialised in all aspects of residential and commercial construction. Currently and upcoming, we have a number of tiling jobs and large projects which we are needing to prepare for. Therefore we are on the look out to expand our tiling group to cater to these additional projects. Employment details as per below:
Key tasks:
• Preparing and setting out work areas, including cleaning surfaces, removing old materials, and marking layouts.
• Cutting, shaping, and installing tiles with appropriate adhesives, ensuring correct alignment, spacing, and finishes.
• Applying waterproofing systems, grouting tiles, and completing surface cleaning and finishing.
• May install specialised flooring (e.g., terrazzo, cement, mosaics) and create patterned tile designs.
Minimum hours for this role: 30 hours or more per week
Pay rate: $30 to $36 per hour depending on experience
Job location: Wellington region
Qualifications/experience:A minimum of 2 years of relevant/industry work experience is required for this role
