Sunwave is strengthening its global marketing to increase awareness and client engagement in overseas markets. The company seeks a qualified Marketing Specialist to design and implement strategic marketing initiatives that promote our training and coaching services worldwide.

 

The Marketing Specialist plays a key role in executing Sunwave’s growth strategy and requires specialised knowledge of Asian and Vietnamese markets to build sustainable relationships and brand recognition in those regions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Market Research and Strategy

·         Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, customer behaviour, and potential market opportunities in the training, coaching, and export sectors.

·         Analyse competitor activities and international demand for New Zealand educational and business-development programs.

·         Provide strategic recommendations for marketing direction and customer segmentation.

2. Marketing Campaign Development

·         Design and execute integrated digital marketing campaigns across multiple platforms (social media, email, website, paid media).

·         Develop strategic marketing plans aligned with the company’s export and coaching objectives.

·         Coordinate campaign budgets, timelines, and performance tracking.

3. Content Creation and Brand Management

·         Produce engaging marketing materials such as blog posts, promotional videos, and graphics that communicate the value of our business-training and coaching programs.

·         Maintain brand consistency across all company communication channels.

·         Oversee website updates, social-media presence, and digital storytelling initiatives.

4. Lead Generation and Client Engagement

·         Plan and manage online lead-generation campaigns targeting corporate and education-sector clients.

·         Optimise customer-journey touchpoints to improve engagement and conversion rates.

·         Collaborate with business-development and management teams to convert leads into partnerships or enrolments.

5. Performance Monitoring and Reporting

·         Track marketing metrics (reach, engagement, ROI, conversion rates) and prepare monthly analytical reports.

·         Evaluate campaign results and provide data-driven insights for improvement.

·         Report directly to the Managing Director on strategic marketing outcomes.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

         Either a bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Marketing, Communications, or a related field; or a minimum of 5 years’ experience in marketing, business development, or related professional-services industries (preferably in coaching, education, or training).

         Ability to design and implement digital marketing campaigns and international brand-building strategies

         Proficiency in content marketing, analytics, and CRM tools.

         Excellent communication, creative, and analytical skills.

         Competitive Salary from NZD 33.56 per hour or higher, depending on qualifications and experience
