Primary Learning Teacher for children aged 4–8. Responsible for delivering structured Chinese language and early-years Mathematics lessons, supporting foundational learning and confidence-building in a positive and engaging classroom environment. Full-time role based in Rosedale, Auckland.

We are seeking a dedicated Primary Learning Teacher (Chinese & Mathematics) to join our education team. This role supports children aged 4–8 in developing foundational literacy, numeracy, communication and problem-solving skills through structured learning programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver Chinese language and early-years Mathematics lessons aligned to learning progressions.

  • Demonstrate concepts using a range of age-appropriate teaching strategies and resources.

  • Monitor, assess and record learning progress through observations and informal assessments.

  • Provide learning support tailored to individual student needs.

  • Maintain a positive, supportive and engaging classroom environment.

  • Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers about student development.

  • Participate in curriculum planning discussions and staff professional development.

 

About You:

  • Experience teaching young children in a structured learning environment.

  • Strong communication skills and positive classroom management.

  • Ability to teach in Mandarin and English is required.

  • Passionate about helping children learn with confidence and joy.
