Tow Truck Driver

Majhail Towing and Cars Limited is looking for two skilled and motivated Tow Truck Driver to join our professional team.

Pay Rate: $27 - $29 per hour (based on experience)
Location: Auckland
Employment Type: Full-time (Minimum 30 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate tow trucks to transport vehicles from breakdowns, accident scenes, and private properties.
• Respond promptly to dispatch calls and customer requests.
• Secure vehicles properly using towing equipment and safety chains.
• Perform vehicle recovery and roadside assistance when required.
• Maintain accurate trip records, delivery logs, and service reports.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections to ensure safety and operational readiness.
• Follow all company policies, road safety, and compliance regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service during all interactions.
• Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs immediately.
• Do general mechanical and car dismantling duties when required.

Requirements

• Valid NZ Class 2 Driver Licence (or overseas equivalent).
• Hold forklift license or able to obtain
• 6 months experience or any level 2 qualifications.
• Strong understanding of road safety and load securing requirements.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, early mornings and on-call shifts.
• Must pass drug and alcohol testing.
• Physically fit and capable of handling vehicle recovery tasks.
• Reliable, responsible, and customer-focused attitude.
