  • Own the go-to-market plan: segmentation, targeting, positioning, and regional rollout (trade, wholesale, independent workshops, e-commerce).
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify product gaps and new revenue streams; set sales targets, budgets, pricing architectures, discount frameworks, and promotional calendars.
  • Set annual budgets, sales targets and forecasts; establish pricing architectures, discount frameworks and promotional calendars.

  • Establish/optimise trade programmes (credit, returns, warranties) with Finance & Operations; improve fill-rate, stock turns and category margin.

Marketing & Brand

  • Lead brand strategy and campaigns across website, search, trade media, catalogues and events; define KPIs and measure ROI.
  • Oversee product information, merchandising and online catalogue integrity; implement analytics and attribution.

Sourcing, Quality & Supply Chain

  • Identify, vet, and onboard Mainland China suppliers and OE-equivalent manufacturers; negotiate MOQs, QA standards, lead times, and landed-cost targets.
  • Coordinate import logistics, customs/compliance documentation, and consumer-law warranty settings; manage failure-analysis feedback with suppliers.

Leadership & Governance

  • Recruit, coach and performance-manage a small sales/marketing team; embed a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Prepare board-grade reporting on pipeline, revenue, GM%, budget variance, market intelligence and strategic risks; present actions and outcomes.
