We are looking for experienced Concrete Construction Specialists.

You will be based in Canterbury but from time to time, may be required to work at projects in Auckland, Manawatu-Whanganui, Wellington, Nelson/Tasman, Marlborough, Otago and Southland region.

This is a permanent full-time role with guaranteed 30 hours per week.

The role is to utilise trade skills, knowledge, and experience to undertake concrete placing and other construction tasks, ensuring compliance with specified contract requirements in a safe and timely manner.

Your key accountabilities include but are not limited to:

  • Install paving systems, carry out subgrade prep, basecourse placement, compaction and leveling
  • Concrete placement and paving installtion
  • Machine operation including laser screeds or trowelling machines
  • Understand and utilise different concrete mixes, slab designs and time critical elements of concrete
  • Ensure correct falls, alignments and joingting for all pipework.
  • Put health and safety first

The right candidates for this role need to demonstrate:

  • at least 3-year relevant experience
  • Able to work through weekends and public holidays
  • Able to travel for work and potential relocation
  • Team player and focus on health and safety for yourself and the others
  • Excellent communication skills
  • New Zealand citizens, or with the legal work right on your visa.
