This role performs the lead technical support function for precast product manufacture. It supports the Production Manager and all Production Teams to ensure compliance with technical and product performance specifications

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing technical capability to all production teams on site
  • Ensuring manufacturing methods are reviewed by this person to ensure all product types are developed to be safe and robust across setup, pouring, stripping, inspections, labelling and storage
  • Ensuring that M-Specials are manufactured accurately and on time
  • Providing internal and external technical support when working with customers and their technical representatives
  • Encouraging a successful safety culture within the organisation, demonstrating that every person is to take responsibility and demonstrate good environmental and health and safety practices
  •  Review and development of Hynds SOPs used for safe and accurate product manufacture

Key Attributes

  • Engineering Degree (Civil or Construction)
  • 3 - 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing precast/production environment
  • Knowledge of maintaining health & safety processes and compliance
  • Background in process management and continuous improvement
  • Well-developed report writing and editing skills
  • Excellent MS Office Skills
  • Outstanding relationship management and communication skills
  • AutoCAD and SolidWorks experience preferred
