We are looking for ten Poultry Workers to work at our poultry catching operations across multiple farm sites in Auckland. This role involves catching birds, ensuring all animal welfare, and health & safety standards are maintained, and supporting operational efficiency.

You will be guaranteed a minimum of 40-45 hours per week, working on a full-time basis. The hourly pay would be between $25.00 - $27.00. 

About the role:

  • The Job includes travelling between different sites with your team, where you are required to handle live poultry wearing appropriate gear provided by the company.
  • Transportation will be provided from our site in Auckland, and you will travel to different farms around the Auckland region with your team.
  • You will be placing the live birds in crates/modules using the correct technique and adhering to the code of welfare under the Animal welfare act (full training provided) , full modules are then loaded on to our truck and trailers by the fork hoist operator.
  • When the truck and trailer is fully loaded, the truck driver delivers the load to our customers requested site.
  • This job requires you to follow the procedures under the site managers instructions, site rules to be always followed.
  • Night shift/early morning 5 days a week, your week starts on a Sunday night or Monday morning and finishes on Friday. Additional work might be required from time to time and this may include Saturday/Sunday work.  
  • Full time work, minimum of 40 - 45 average weekly hours.
  • The role is physically demanding (lifting and bending) and all staff are provided with relevant PPE/ Safety equipment.
  • Training will be provided on site for catching procedures and overall workplace safety.
