Painting Trades Worker – Full-Time Position (Accredited Employer Visa)

Position
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Painting Trades Worker to join our growing team. The successful applicant will perform a wide range of interior and exterior painting duties for residential and commercial clients under the Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV) program.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, clean, sand, and repair surfaces before painting.
- Mix and match paint colours and apply coats using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Paint walls, ceilings, doors, and exterior surfaces with high precision and consistency.
- Identify and fix surface defects such as cracks, holes, or chips.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in good condition.
- Follow all Health and Safety procedures and ensure tidy worksites.
- Work efficiently to meet project deadlines and quality standards.

Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in residential or commercial painting.
- Solid understanding of surface preparation, paint types, and finishing techniques.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a professional team.
- Reliable, punctual, and physically fit for hands-on work.
- Relevant trade qualification in painting or decorating is an advantage.
- Must be eligible to apply under the Accredited Employer Work Visa framework.

Employment Details
- Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
- Hours: 40–45 hours per week
- Pay Rate: NZD $29.66 – $34.00 per hour (based on experience)
- Location: Auckland, New Zealand
