Job Description:

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Fabricate and assemble metal components for renovation works, including frames,
  brackets, railings, balustrades, doors, and structural fittings.
• Read and interpret architectural drawings, fabrication plans, and technical
  specifications.
• Operate fabrication machinery such as welders, grinders, cutting tools, and bending
  machines.
• Conduct on-site installation of fabricated materials in accordance with building
  standards.
• Inspect, measure, and verify dimensions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Perform MIG/TIG/ARC welding according to project requirements.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a safe working environment following company and
  WorkSafe NZ guidelines.
• Work collaboratively with builders, installers, and project managers to deliver high- quality renovation outcomes.

Job requirement: applicant must meet following requirement to apply for this job

• NZQF level 4 qualification is required
• At least three years relevant working experience in the same industry
• Ability to read technical drawings and fabrication diagrams.
• Competence in MIG/TIG/ARC welding.
• Strong knowledge of metals, fabrication processes, safety procedures, and installation
  standards.
• Physically fit and able to handle materials and equipment.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Able to follow Health & Safety regulations at all times.
