MS AKL Limited is a growing logistics and transport company operating across Auckland. We specialise in freight movement, supply chain support, and delivery services. We are expanding our operations and require a reliable Truck Driver to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • manoeuvring vehicles into position for loading and unloading

  • loading and unloading vehicles using lifting and tipping devices

  • observing safety requirements when loading and unloading vehicles

  • making regular quality checks of vehicles to ensure they can be driven safely

  • estimating weights to comply with load limitations and ensuring safe distribution of weight

  • ensuring goods are stowed and securely covered to prevent loss and damage

  • verifying loading documents, checking condition of goods and obtaining certification of deliveries

Skills & Experience Required

Applicants must meet the following:

  • A valid New Zealand Class 4 or Class 5 Driver Licence (depending on vehicle type)

  • Clean driving record

  • Ability to handle physical tasks (lifting/loading)

  • Good knowledge of Auckland road routes

  • Able to work independently and manage time effectively

  • Previous experience in truck driving or logistics preferred

Additional Requirements (Immigration NZ)

  • The role is full-time (minimum 30 hours per week)

  • Pay rate is at $26 -$34 as per experience

  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test

    Must provide a clear Ministry of Justice (MOJ) criminal record check
