LWC Recruitment is curently looking for 1 qualified and experienced welder. Ideally with a minimum of 2 years experience. This is an excellent opportunity with great working conditions, excellent pay, carrer, and on-going development opportunities.

Our head office is located at 26 Tedwood Drive, MAssey. This may require the need to travel away from home. Wages are between $33.56 to $35 per hour. Full-time permanent with guaranteed 30 hours per week. 

 

 

LWC Recruitment will assist with any training requirements and upskilling. 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform multiple welding techniques and methods as directred by the client
  • Perform tasks reading off plans provided
  • Fabricate and assemble metal structures using carbon
  • Fabricate aluminum soaker flashing and any related welded flashings
  • Operate TIG machines
  • Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment
  • Maintain a clean and clear work area on completion of day's work
  • Keep up to date with any training for Health and Safety matters
  • Complete taining to a satisfactory standard
  • Complete ongoing taining for equipment and technology changes

The ideal candidate will have mathematical skills, attention to detail, steady hands and good hand eye coordination with physical strength and endurance.
