Marketing Officer wanted

We have several branches across New Zealand. We are now seeking a Marketing Officer to join us. This is a full-time role requiring at least 30 hours per week, and the workplace for this role is at Christchurch.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

This role aims to identify market opportunities and advise on developing, coordinating, and implementing plans for marketing activities to support the business's development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advertising Campaign Strategy & Execution: Plan, develop, and coordinate targeted advertising campaigns to achieve sales objectives and enhance brand visibility.
  • Strategic Advisory for Executives & Clients: Provide expert guidance to executives and clients on effective advertising strategies and campaigns that align with overall business goals.
  • Brand Awareness & Promotion: Drive consumer awareness and effectively communicate the brand's unique attributes and services to engage and attract target audiences.
  • Campaign Production Management: Oversee the production of advertising campaigns, ensuring the execution of specialised activities while adhering to time and budget constraints.
  • Market Analysis & Trend Forecasting: Analyse market data to identify consumer patterns and preferences, and interpret current and emerging trends to inform marketing strategies.
  • Business Growth & Marketing Objectives: Support business development and growth by preparing and executing strategic marketing objectives that align with broader organisational goals.
  • Market Research & Opportunity Identification: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify new opportunities for product or service expansion, as well as areas for improvement within existing offerings.
  • Comprehensive Marketing Strategy Advisory: Advise on all key elements of the marketing mix, including product positioning, pricing strategies, advertising, and sales promotions, to optimise business performance.

The successful candidate must have:

  • At least 2  years of relevant work experience OR a Level 7 relevant Bachelor qualification or above.
  • Good work attitude and good communication skills

  • Quality workmanship and eye for detail
  • Strong dedication to health and workplace safety
