Aqua Artist is a professional learn-to-swim school founded by Olympic medallist Jun Dai. We operate multiple centres across Auckland, offering programmes for preschoolers, school‑age children, squads, adults and holiday programmes. Our mission is to provide safe, effective and enjoyable swimming lessons for families in a supportive environment.
About the Role
We are seeking a Marketing Specialist to support brand growth, parent communication and promotional activities across digital and community channels. The role involves developing marketing campaigns, creating content, supporting promotional initiatives and improving customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and evaluate marketing and promotional campaigns for Aqua Artist’s programmes and services.
- Conduct basic market and customer research to understand parent needs and programme performance.
- Create and publish digital content across social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, RED and WeChat.
- Produce simple visual and video materials for advertising and promotion.
- Assist in developing marketing materials for key programmes including holiday camps, trial lessons, free assessments and new class launches.
- Monitor and report on digital campaign results, customer engagement and response patterns.
- Maintain consistent communication with centre managers and coaches to ensure all marketing messaging is accurate and aligned with programme delivery.
- Support customer communication by helping respond to online enquiries and gathering feedback from parents.
- Collect and organise basic customer data and insights to support ongoing marketing improvements.
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Psychology or a related discipline.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with major social media platforms and digital content creation tools.
- Basic video editing or simple graphic design skills.
- Good understanding of customer behaviour, especially parent-focused communication.
- Strong organisational and time‑management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Bilingual ability (e.g., English plus another language) is an advantage but not required.
