Experienced Bookkeeper Required
 
A busy, growth-focused meat processing and distribution business is seeking a bookkeeper to join their team on a full-time and permanent basis (H/O at West Auckland).
A desirable candidate should:
• Certificate or diploma in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or similar
• 2+ years of bookkeeping/accounts administration experience, ideally in a wholesale or distribution business
• The pay scale is $28.00-$35.00 depending on skills, the minimum hour of work is 30 hours per week, 5 days a week – Monday to Friday.
Job duties and responsibilities:
▪ Record daily sales, purchases, and expenses
▪ Manage customer invoices and supplier bills
▪ Reconcile bank accounts and company credit cards
▪ Track inventory costs and supplier payments
▪ Process payroll and keep employee records updated
▪ Prepare simple financial reports for management
▪ Support the external accountant during month-end and year-end processes
▪ Keep all financial documents organized and up to date
