We are looking for an experienced Hydraulic service technician to join the team.

The role is permanent full-time, with a minimum guaranteed hours of 40 hours per week with possible overtime if required.

Your salary package will include competitive hourly rates ranging from NZ$38 up to NZ$44 per hour depending on skill level.

Key responsibilities of this role include but not limited to:

·        To provide skillful and efficient maintenance and repair of Hydraulic equipment and contribute to a professional team environment by ensuring high levels of safety, quality and efficiency;

·        Provide skillful and effective machine diagnostics and repairs;

·        Testing and adjusting of machine operating and monitoring systems utilising relevant literature and testing equipment;

·        Good technical understanding of the design & function of current equipment systems and processes.

·        Produce concise and effective technical reports.

·        Coordinate major site-based equipment maintenance projects.

 

To be qualified, you must have:

·        Minimum 3 years of verifiable experience in similar role;

·        Ability to obtain Class 1 driver’s licence, Class 2 (heavy transport) preferable, or overseas equivalents;

·        Commitment to safety

·        Good understanding of computer systems and Microsoft Office

·        Ability to provide a high level of customer service and commitment to safety;

·        Ability to work unsupervised and excellent written and verbal communication skills
