Position Title: Car Yard Manager
Number of Positions: 1
Location: Tauranga, Bay of Plenty
Pay Rate: $30 – $35 per hour
Hours of Work: 30 – 40 hours per week

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience OR Level 5 qualification. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Organise and control buying and selling of vehicles for the car yard
  • Coordinate leasing and finance options for customers
  • Manage vehicle inventory, pricing, and display standards
  • Liaise with clients to determine requirements and handle complaints
  • Ensure compliance with licensing and registration regulations
  • Maintain business records and prepare operational reports
  • Supervise yard staff and train them on sales and safety procedures
  • Oversee vehicle maintenance and grooming schedules
  • Implement marketing strategies to boost sales
  • Monitor yard safety and ensure adherence to health and safety standards
