MR Singh Brick and Block Layering Limited is an Auckland-based construction company specialising in high-quality brick and block work for residential and commercial projects. As our workload continues to grow, we are looking for three experienced and reliable Bricklayers to join our team.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Laying bricks, blocks, and other masonry materials to construct or repair walls, partitions, arches, and structures

  • Reading and interpreting plans, drawings, and specifications

  • Measuring and cutting materials to size

  • Preparing and applying mortar

  • Aligning and positioning bricks and blocks using tools such as levels, plumb lines, and trowels

  • Operating brick-cutting machines and other relevant equipment

  • Ensuring all work meets quality standards and complies with safety regulations

  • Cleaning and maintaining tools, equipment, and work areas

Skills & Experience Required

  • A relevant qualification comparable to at least NZQCF level 4, OR
  • A minimum of two years of relevant work experience in construction industry or a similar role. 

  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans

  • Strong understanding of bricklaying techniques and materials

  • Good physical fitness and ability to work in outdoor construction environments

  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a team
