WHO WE ARE


We are a Commercial/Residential exterior washing company established in 2022. We are widely servicing the whole of the Bay of Plenty and even extending some of our services to the Waikato region.

JOB DESCRIPTION: The Power Wash Technician is responsible for cleaning, maintaining, and restoring exterior surfaces using high-pressure washing systems and specialized equipment. This role requires strong safety awareness, physical fitness, and previous experience in physically demanding work environments. The position also requires flexibility, including the willingness to work weekends and to travel across various job locations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operate and maintain pressure washing machines, pumps, hoses, and cleaning tools.
  • Clean and treat building exteriors, roofs, gutters, decks, and concrete surfaces.
  • Safely mix and apply detergents or chemical treatments following strict handling protocols.
  • Conduct site assessments, identify hazards, and establish safe work zones.
  • Set up and operate ladders, scaffolding, and elevated work platforms while following PPE and working-at-heights procedures.
  • Perform routine equipment checks, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Complete work orders, job logs, and digital reports accurately using company systems.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth site operations.
  • Uphold high standards of professionalism and customer service on every job site.
  • Work weekends when required to meet operational needs.
  • Travel to multiple job locations across regions as part of normal duties.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

  • Previous experience in physical labour or outdoor work environments.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with pumps, hoses, and machinery.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety, hazard identification, and PPE use.
  • Good physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid NZ Class 1 Driver’s Licence required.
  • EWP, Working at Heights, or First Aid certifications preferred.
