We are a Commercial and Residential exterior washing company established in 2022. We widely service the whole of the Bay of Plenty and even extend some of our services to the Waikato region.
JOB DESCRIPTION: The Manager plays a critical role in leading, organizing, and growing The Tidy Kiwi BOP Ltd by ensuring that operations run efficiently, customers receive excellent service, and business targets are achieved. This position is a key leadership role designed to manage daily operations, supervise staff, and support strategic growth initiatives under the direction of the Director.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead, supervise, and support the operations team to ensure daily activities run smoothly and efficiently.
- Oversee scheduling, staff allocation, and equipment management to ensure timely and quality service delivery.
- Train and mentor new team members, ensuring high standards of service quality and professionalism.
- Implement and maintain health and safety compliance through Safe365 and company policies.
- Ensure quality assurance across all services by conducting job inspections and client feedback reviews.
- Prepare and manage quotes, invoices, and financial reports through ServiceM8 and Xero systems.
- Build and maintain client relationships with property managers, commercial clients, and council partners.
- Assist in business growth by identifying new opportunities and supporting tender submissions.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to gather before/after photos, reviews, and social media content.
- Monitor and report on team KPIs, including revenue, job profitability, and customer satisfaction.
- Track stock levels of cleaning materials and equipment, reorder when necessary, and ensure all machinery is well-maintained and safe for use.
PERFORMANCE GOALS:
- Maintain client satisfaction rating of 95% or higher through consistent service excellence.
- Achieve monthly revenue and profitability targets set by the Director.
- Increase the number of commercial maintenance contracts and repeat clients quarterly.
- Reduce rework and client complaints by 20% through improved job quality and communication.
- Ensure the team operates safely, efficiently, and in line with company standards.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
- Proven experience in operations or team management, preferably in the cleaning or property maintenance industry.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of job management systems (e.g., ServiceM8) and accounting platforms (e.g., Xero).
- Ability to work autonomously and make sound decisions under pressure.
